James Cameron On His New Film “Avatar”
September 3rd 2009 09:58
“Titanic” director James Cameron talks about his most awaited film “Avatar”. A digital 3D film adventure fantasy starring Sam Worthington & Zoe Saldana.
What the movie is about on a thematic level is what we’re losing every day. We’re losing not only the natural world but as part of the natural world. It’s easy to say the movie is about the humans versus the Na’vi. But the Na’vi represents something of ourselves that we are losing. We want to be like them because they’re a reflection of who we would like to be in some ways. We want to be harmonious, wiser, more spiritual and physical at the same time.” Said Cameron in the interview with reporters at the office of Light storm Entertainment, his production company in Santa Monica, California.
