Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan in"Mamma Mia! The Movie"

"Mamma Mia! The Movie" is probably one of the best and most enjoyable movie musicals you will see this season. What with Pierce Brosnan, the former James Bond singing and Meryl Streep rooning fabulously in her first musical film rote.
The movie manage to capture the breathtaking Greek islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Damouhari. In one scene, Meryl's Donna character sings an impassioned version of "The Winner Takes It All" to Pierce, amid a magnificient view of a towering rock formation that juts out into the sea, overlooking a chapel, where a wedding is about to take place.
The musical opened in the London in 1999, and now, nine years later, a film adaptiation of a stage musical that really soars and entertains.
